 The Shadows Have Come
« Thread Started on Aug 3, 2006, 9:44pm »

Finally the sun had set over the sun soaked woods. Once more everything was turning dark, and all the things that went bump in the night were coming out to play. Along with those beasts with hearts so cold and curel. One beast stood out amoung them all. All the other's fled from him as his large paws touched the earth. But something was different about this black wolven. His mind was buzzing ever the more heavy with thoughts of death and killing. His bloodthrist met no match as of now. Why suddenly had he reverted back to his former self? The scary thing is that he liked it. He no longer wanted to be liked, he wanted to be the creature he was born to be, to raise hell, to complete his mission in life, to carry out the name of Fenris Fenrir. Creatures born of pure evil are not to be loved or cared for. Even though he thought for a moment he could change, he knew that he never would.

When he thought that he could he became weak, and he hated that feeling more then anything. He had written his name in blood, not butterflies and sunshine. Kill first ask questions later. That was who this dark brute was, no one should have the right to look down on him or think that they will ever be trusted by him. He cares for no one and no one should care for him. It would make living and dying all the more easy.

The brute's maw was already stained in blood, from another creature he had killed before night fell. The blood still left its irony taste in his throat. He longed for more, perhaps the blood of another wolf. But whom? A random loner or from a pack? He carried death on his paws, nothing else.

After a pause of his thoughts he stopped moving and lifted his maw towards the sky. He let an eerie howl erupt from his scarred maw. It was one that he hadn't let out for many moons now, and one that longed to be called. The shadows were back and now his mind was tainted with thoughts of death and hate. The true Fenrir was back.

The howl soon died as it raced acrossed the new lands. But he had made sure that it had been heard well by all those around. Then, when everything seemed to go silent, a twisted laugh emitted from his blackened maw. The shadows that danced on the trees and the ground moved towards this brute. Once blood stained optics began to swirl with black. It seemed like there was a battle going on between the two colors. The shadows consumed him and he melded with them. No longer the beast that he was, but now a shadow moving through the woods.

After what seemed like only seconds he reappeared in a clearing of sorts. Now his crimson orbs were all one color, black no longer tainted them. He half wondered if anyone would answer his call. And what would become of the wolven that did?

Her gaze roamed the vast sea of trees and grass. Cascading down upon a clearing was the moon, and beneath the eerie glow heir lay such a beast. Her eyes glow tauntingly from the dark, her obsidian body stained with sterling crevasses. Her colossal frame slid deeper in shadow and with every step panic and fear struck those near her. She was a demon, locked away inside the mind of a wolf. With such power comes loneliness, with such horrid behavior comes, solitude.

Her pads struck the frosted ground, her stealth being an indestructible weapon. Her azure eyes glare toward the clearing, she had heard the cry. The menacing cry that made her wolfen body tremor un-ordinarily. Juukan cackled inside her, letting a malicious grin slid across her facade. Her talons ebb from her paws, ivories poke from her malevolent leer. Salivate ooze from her jagged incisors, her audits pin themselves irritably upon her sable cranium. Yukari was an ordinary wolf from appearance, but Juukan would do all in his power to let everyone around Yukari know she was controlled by a demon.

Yukari snorted a memory twisting and churning in the back of her mind. Juukan cackled as her pushed the memory forward, aggravating her, making her remember. The day was so bright, a small wolf like creature leaped from rock to rock over the lake. Her mother encouraging her along the way. “Come on Yukari, only another rock.” Yukari’s ebony aw slipped and her nose dipped itself into the river flowing swiftly. Yukari looked to her mother, her soft gaze encouraging her to continue. Through all odds. Yukari rose, shaking her mass and leaping to the stone resting just below the water. Yukari landed with ease, and then leaped into the air, landing beside her mother proud. The small ebony whelp gazed at her mother a soft smile beaming like the sun. The smile however was not returned. For the sable beauty that once encourage Yukari has shattered into mere imagination. The whelp held tears in her eyes, her fur stained with the wet. Yukari was tense, her fur bristled as her gaze shifted to the ground. “Stop it!” She screamed, a snarl emerging from her muzzle. Her body was now quivering, her heart hammering against her chest, swallowing hard she raised her head, straightening her cerulean gaze. Thunder struck in the distance, and the darkness became clear. It was then Yukari saw him, rain now assail the ground and her fur became heavy. Obsidian tresses fell carelessly into her vision, but her eyes remain transfixed upon this creature. Blood stained his coat, and his scent reeked on abhorrence. A snarl emit from her throat, and Juukan pushed another memory forward, causing revulsion to leak in her eyes like acrimony.

Her opponent was young, his body was small and frail. His eyes quake with horror of the creature before him. Yukari was cackling, blood drip from her jowls, her eyes held pure hatred. Juukan shine through them, his hatred glowing like luminous moons. “Please...don’t hurt me...” he called, backing away, his ashen features blurred, and the moon was blinding her. Blood spattered Yukari’s coat, and a loud horrid yowl filled the sea of trees. The creature who stood before her, scared and alone lay clutching on to the thread of life. Yukari grinned, revealing blood stained ivories.

Again her frame tremor, loathing etched in her every feature. She would show no kindness, no mercy. Juukan had released his last torment to her, and freed the beast. The horrid beast Yukari was.

Finally the shadowed beast caught the scent of another wolven. His optics narrowed with a wicked glee as he turned to where the scent was coming from. It was the scent of a fae, and this one had the scent of an alphess. Did she think that it was wise to come alone to find him? Fool... he thought looking at her. His tail flicked slightly as his hackles brissled and his sharpe talons dug in the soft forest dirt.

"Do you think it wise to come and find me, lady alphess?" he almost growled at her.

But something was different about this alphess. She was dark, but not like most, she was like him in many ways. A wolf of evil, as he was. A creature that was horrid and cruel. He liked it. He'd never come across one such as her in his life. He could only remember his grandfather being evil, because, in a sense, Fenrir was a spitting image of his grandfather. Perhaps this would finally be the pack that he would join. But he would need to be impressed by this evil fae.

Yukari demonic gaze rose from the ground, a sadistic grin has etched itself upon her maw. Heh, was it wise for you to call? she spat, sending random spurs of salivate to the ground. Yukari advanced on the creature before her, her obsidian fleece shimmering in the rays of light, the rain pouring down upon her making her all the more vicarious. Yukari looked to the bloodied ground and gave a soft chuckle. Her body moving cautiously, her gaze haunting.

Her appendages moved gracefully among the wet blades of grass, leaves fell and swirled in the vicious winds batting the two wolves. Juukan flashed in her eyes, and Yukari’s grin widened. Yukari snarled, her ivories poking her jowls. “Well…it is only fair you know my name.” Yukari cooed, her voice seductive, yet vice. Her frame moved with stealth it seemed she was moving through the droplets of rain. “I am Yukari…” Yukari silenced herself, gazing to the woods around her with interest. “And who might you be? A demon perhaps?” She asked, her muzzle baring an eerie grin. Inside of Yukari lay the whelp of obsidian, scared, weeping, in slumber this infant awaits the death of the demon who haunts and taunts her mind. The spirits around are glowing a wild deadly crimson, Yukari’s soul is no longer pure, no longer sinless like once. Yukari holds blood upon her paws, her eyes even hold the demon within. Juukan. Her only demon, her only fear, her only escape.

He laughed coldy at the fae's reply. He was no demon, just a creature of the shadows. "Not a demon, as you think I might be...My lady...I am the shadows and the evil that hides within them. Death and chaos follow closly at my heels and I welcome them," he replied looking at the alphess that had just given him her dubbing. It deemed only fair that he returned the favor.

"My dubbing, Yukari, is Fenris Fenrir...Deemed from my grandfather and the wolven that I am a rencarnation of, the God Fenris Fenrir. You see, I am no fake dark...Am I a true darken wolf. My heart is withered and rotten. I feel no pitty towards those that I kill. I let none get away from my wrath, no fae or whelp. My soul and heart is chilled by the underworld. I am a cursed wolf, simply, and now I seek a pack to join..." he finished flicking his tail.

Yukari’s eyes narrowed, her she released an displeased snarl his way. “There are no fake demons, Fenris. They are all very real. I trust you know this.” He chilled tone took a lenient turn. “Although my pack is in dire need of members such as yourself. I suppose it is a pleasure meeting you. Considering whom you are.” Yukari gave a quick glance over the brute. Her brow tapered for a moment, then quickly se turned her gaze to the trees around her. “Should I extend my paw in welcome to you, or have I not gained yet the trust needed?” Yukari c0cked her head to the side, rerunning her sentence over in her head. Although she scarcely cared weather her words made sense. The fae blinked, scenting the air of her packlands.

“I suppose I will take a risk, for you cannot be much dangerous than I…” Yukari extended her paw, her ear laying back against her cranium. “Would you accept a welcome into my pack?”

((omg no sense i can't RP today x3))

Fenrir's blood stained optics looked at the fae's paw that was out before him. He blinked his eyes closed for a moment to think and then quickly re-opened them. Nodding his maw slightly towards her and then looked deeply into her own optics with a smirk.

"I am thankful that you are letting me join...I will accept your offer. But the trust thing is different. I sense that you will find my trust shortly, but for now I cannot give it to you. You see, my trust is not given away so easily over night, m'lady," he replied, bitter truth lingering on every word that came out of his scarred and tattered maw.

He rolled his large shoulders to crack them so the small kink that was annoying him went away. Sighing slightly he once more met her gaze with his own. "But fret not, you have something that most wolves do not have with me. I respect you...that should give you enough to somewhat trust me in your packlands. But you are the only one here that has that. None of the other members, if any, are safe if they mess with me. I have a short temper..." he finished with a cold laugh.
